Don’t want to be out at night? Then come along to the Kidman Park Parish Centre on Wednesdays from 12.30pm to 2.30pm and join a group of people who gather together to share their love of crafts – from embroidery to quilt making – and who also enjoy a cup of tea or coffee with a piece of cake! Bring your own craft activity or learn something new.
We have two groups: A large one where everyone joins in and tries everything. This is a talkative and lively group, and these folk are really good company. The other group is small, and these people like to do their own thing most of the time with a little bit of direction from the teachers. They also share jokes and fellowship.
The group meets every Wednesday except during school holidays, and operates in the comfort of the air-conditioned Parish Centre. There is a small charge for tea, coffee, cake and biscuits. If the temperature is forecast to be greater than 36 degrees, the meeting is cancelled.
For more information, please contact the Parish Office.
